About
Wendy was born in West Sussex, England, where she enjoyed a happy childhood filled with guinea-pigs and fun. She left home to study Medicine at Birmingham University, where she met her husband and became a doctor. They now live in a little village in Herefordshire, having raised two wonderful sons.
She discovered her love for story telling not long after her youngest started school. And if you were to ask her what made her make the switch, she would tell you quite simply, that it started with a dream.

What inspired you to start writing?
It's corny, but it was a dream. Sad, I know, but true. I woke up so captured by the story, wondering what would have happened if I'd stayed asleep and how had I got there? I ended up writing it down.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
The last book I wrote was set in a hospital. A Piece of my Heart is a story about a woman in hospital and a visitor, meeting every day in the hospital cafe.
