My name is Lillian Bricker. I live in Ohio with my significant other and my dogs, Snowball & Leo. I work full-time as a coding specialist. I have DiGeorge Syndrome, which is a chromosome deficiency, but I have not let that stop me.
I have had many scary medical issues happen in my life, but the latest one I can remember is surviving a schwannoma tumor that was growing on my spinal cord and was attached to my heart. I was in and out of the hospital four times between November 2022 and January 2023. It has helped change my perspective on life.
Since I was eleven years old, I have dreamt about becoming an author. I wrote short stories on Wattpad. They aren’t properly edited, but they are a testimony to how far I have come as a writer. My mother used to take me to writing conventions to talk to other authors and gain guidance from different publishers.
I spent my medical leave writing a book to put it out into the world for people to enjoy. To be able to achieve this childhood goal has really been a blessing.

What inspired you to start writing?
As a child, my grandma would read books to me all the time. Listening to her stories instilled in me a passion for the written word.
