About
Margaret Ferguson, a Chickasaw author, Rotarian, and elder, after owning her own business for seventeen years, sold it in 2014. Then, at the age of fifty-three, she chose an unlikely and challenging career with a low success rate as a paid profession—author. But there’s nothing she wanted more to do in her life than to write—to be a published author. With five self-published works now available online and at various Chickasaw venues, she continues to spend her days with her grandkids, in prayer, and writing—her three greatest passions.
Margaret spends most of her days making a difference in the world, sending prayer cards to encourage others, working on Rotary projects to help change the world, spoiling her grandkids, and playfully irritating her husband. With the time she has left, she writes.
Margaret currently has six published works of fiction include three stand-alone Romance novels, two of them inspirational romance, and the first three of ten planned novels in her Military Suspense series centered on a Chickasaw Army veteran whose courageous, albeit foolhardy, exploits take him from Afghanistan to Austin to the Chickasaw Nation where danger and riveting drama most assuredly follows. She has twenty-three other books she wants to write, spanning multiple genres, as she loves reading across varied genres.
Margaret has been married for forty-seven years to the love of her life, Bryan. She has two grown sons, also authors, and six grandchildren, five of whom share her love of storytelling.
