I am a self-taught writer of mostly science fiction and fantasy, specializing in twist endings like those in Twilight Zone. I've published one novel, and five
novellas on KDP and have published two short story anthologies also on KDP.
As I have stated, I am self-taught largely due to the fact that I never considered myself a people-person, so I steered clear of
journalism, one of the common ways I've seen people enter the writing profession. In addition, I've never been a fast reader
and was slow to pick it up due to my autism and dyslexia. That may explain why I didn't consider myself a writer.
I have been a secondary school teacher most of my professional life. I taught math, physics, and chemistry for over 30 years on
four continents.
I run long distances (10-mile, half-marathon, full marathons). I spend a lot of time with my wife, reading books, taking care of our
9 rescue-parrots, and writing. I also climbed Mt. Kenya, took private pilot lessons at Osan Air Base in South Korea, received a utility patent for my
invention in 2010,

What inspired you to start writing?
I used to write short stories with twist endings for my own amusement. Sometimes, I would submit them to writing contests and would receive some positive feedback.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
My novel Seven Manipulated Minds is about Alfred's struggle to get respect, not only for himself, but for others on the autism spectrum. It is also about fighting bullying, even when the sources are from unexpected origins. The story begins with Alfred, a super-intelligent Asperger's sufferer, finding revenge against his six worst tormentors in high school. He uses a machine to hijack their minds and transporting them to a cyber-space room for proper adjustment. He then convinces them to join him in re-educating prejudiced movers and shakers in Society.
