I was born in Huddersfield, in the North of England, and have lived there for most of my life.
I've always enjoyed writing, and since I retired, writing has become my full-time occupation. My book genres are fashion, amusing, paranormal, and historical mysteries.
I don't write horror as such; my books tend to revolve more around history, the paranormal, hauntings, and the mysterious with some humour. My new book Jocasta Bradman Investigates A Regency Mystery is just out and is the fifth book in the series.
All my books are available worldwide on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback formats. I'm also starting to introduce my books in audio format.

What inspired you to start writing?
I began writing when I retired. It was something I'd always enjoyed, but up to that point, most of my writing had been for academic assignments or work-related reports.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is called Jocasta Bradman Investigates A Regency Mystery. This is book five in my series of amusing, paranormal, historical mysteries. It's set in both 1932 and 1817 and is a haunted house mystery involving a Regency love story. Jocasta Bradman is a talented spiritual medium whom I adore writing about. I love her character.
